“ Best place to bring loved ones to show how much they mean to you. Amazing food plated before your eyes depending on where youre seated, pasta dough rolled out, portioned and cut in sight as well. Felt like home but tasted upscale. Nothing but complements and adoration to the staff! ”
“ I like this place. Been here twice now. People my age hang out here. Cool. Cup of coffee, tastes like coffee. Not to be cynical, but, that can be harder to do than any regular Eugene Coffee Drinker might think. Then again, maybe you understand this problem in the Land of Coffee Drinker. The working persons here are polite and most capable. Professional and personable. Food is served here. I had a mediocre donut. So be it. I do look forward to eating something more substantial next time I am here. ”
“ Food was fresh and delicious! It was also fairly priced and decent servings. The homemade pasta with blue cheese cream sauce and cauliflower, bread w butter and daily salads were to die for! They also had a delicious cheesecake selection basque and goat cheese w blueberrybasil compote. Wine was good as well. Our server was so sweet and took care of us well. The space itself is small, but not too small where it feels tight. Overall, the space and decor is simple, rustic and provides a homelike feel to it. Will definitely come back again! ”
“ Absolutely the best baked goods in town. Every single baked good item that Chad bakes is exceptional. Plus fresh sourdough bread, and delicious dinners! ”
“ I dont know how it took me so long to stumble onto this charming place, but it has excellent food, all of it made from scratch, great service and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch, you have cafe or pizza options. Their woodfired vegan pizza is excellent Aristocrat. For dinner, it feels like a neighborhood European bistro with a rotating list of specials my husband loved the scallops, and I love the fresh pasta. The owner and the people who work there are great. Highly recommend. ”
“ I consider this a mustgo cafe when visiting Eugene. I adore the duck confit sandwich, with its perfect balance of savory meat, sweet tang from caramelized onions, and a touch of spice from the Dijon. ”
“ So I was in town looking for a local place to eat and do some schoolwork, I found this little gem and was excited I did , i initially just wanted some coffee but after hearing the dinner menu I was intrigued. I ordered the potato and onion soup with homemade sourdough bread, lamb chop with Brussels sprouts and potatoes and an apple hazelnut bunt cake. First off the staff was amazing, I truly enjoyed my conversation with them and enjoyed they seemed genuinely interested in learning about me also. The potato and onion soup was amazing, I truly appreciate the starchy texture with the perfect balance of onion. The sourdough was good i loved the depth and bounce of the bread but would have preferred it a little warm. The lamb was delicious and seasoned well , the texture was enjoyable with the meat melting as i ate it , not very gamey which was very nice, the portions of potatoes and Brussels sprouts could have been better, the sprouts were a bit overcooked giving them a bitter flavor. The Apple Hazelnut bunt cake I had for dessert was not pleasant. The cake seemed old , it was very dry , lacking structural depth because it just crumbled. The flavor of fridge was very slight indicating to me it probably wasnt that fresh . Even with the lack of certain aspects of flavors or portion sizes I would definitely recommend trying this establishment. ”
“ I had a biscuit with egg and jamon. Biscuit was so deliciously handmade. Egg was perfectly cooked. Coffee was good, not great. The people working here were the loveliest. Warm and welcoming. I was surprised by it not being open on a Sunday as we had hoped for a repeat performance. Id go 4.5 stars if I could, for the coffee knock, but honestly, its deserving of the 5. ”
